The Science of
Myopia Control
Understanding the mechanisms behind axial elongation and how our dual-action interventions halt progression.
Peripheral Hyperopic Defocus
Conventional corrective lenses project images behind the retina in the periphery, which stimulates the eye to grow longer (myopia progression).
Klariv ActivControl lenses use concentric rings to create Myopic Defocus—projecting peripheral light in front of the retina. This creates a stop signal for axial growth while maintaining clear central vision.
Clinical Efficacy
Two-year multi-center RCTs showed a 62% reduction in myopia progression compared to single-vision lenses.
